Cotorras, Buenos Aires, Argentina on 11th March 2022 – by Pablo Fisher

“Last summer a group of parakeets, very popular birds in Argentina -species: Myiopsitta monachus, known as monk parakeet in English, cotorras here-, began to nest in the square in front of my house. And what a soundful nesting it is. I live in Buenos Aires, in the middle of the city (not the centre, really far from it), but this sounds like a really not-urban soundscape besides there are some cars passing by in the background and another (unidentified) bird in the first half”
