“Here’s a recording from a few weeks ago. It’s taken on the banks of the Salmon Falls River (a tidal river) which forms the border between Maine and New Hampshire. We were standing on a tiny peninsula that juts out into the water just when the tide turned. The river had a thin layer of ice all over the entire thing, and when the tide started going out the ice was pulled along and crashed into the bank.”
