Charatas in El Impenetrable, Argentina on 28th August 2019 – by Mariano Pagella

“When the sun rises in El Impenetrable forest, in the Chaco province of Argentina, and the day begins, the charatas (a local bird) start to sing (or maybe caw?), one by one until all of them explode in one deafening noise that lasts around 60 seconds. After that, all the other birds and animals “wake up” and start to fill the forest with their noises.”
