Rain, Bedroom Window, Brockley, London, UK at 1.30pm on 17th June 2020 – by Liberty Rowley

“I’m on furlough, and stuck indoors by lockdown and the rain.
There was thunder and lightning, not much. And then it started to rain.

I stood at my bedroom window and recorded the rain, the birds and the occasional delivery driver slamming a van door.
I’ve never stood so long looking out of my bedroom window before.

The Lime Trees in the small park (or field) opposite are what the block of flats I live in are named after – Lime Tree House. Not the Lime Trees that produce citrus fruit, the other Lime Tree, Tillia – the type that drips a sticky sap all over your car if you park it underneath.”
