Babbling brook, Cornwell, West Oxfordshire, UK on New Year’s Day 2020 – by Helen Bostock
“I stumbled across this gently babbling brook on an overcast New Year’s Day walk in the charming village of Cornwell, West Oxfordshire, close to where we live in the Cotswolds. The stream went around many bends as it came down the field, then slipped under the path where the acoustics seemed amplified and included lovely ringing tones beneath the general tinkling. My husband and dog waited patiently while I insisted on pausing to record the music of the stream.”
