West St Kilda Beach, Melbourne, Australia – by Erin Kyan
“I was on a small jetty for this one, so that I could record right over the shoreline and get all those beautiful little bay waves as they rolled up against the sand. Bay waves don’t behave like open ocean waves; they’re tiny and gentle. They don’t roar so much as they whisper. Because it was so late, there wasn’t much traffic to be heard in the background, although you do still hear a car here and there going past.”
