“Victoria Park is right next to the motorway, next to Glasgow’s Clyde Tunnel which links the north of the city to the south. You can hear the traffic, see the tower blocks, and still feel connected to the city whilst having a moment to breathe. Standing listening to the evening birdsong, dogs chasing balls and couples chatting was a gentle reminder that some kind of normal life still exists.”
