“My housemate and I used our daily walk to explore the eerily empty city. We chanced across this patch of highly organised greenery and stood for a while enjoying the fountain, the birdsong and the chunk of old London Wall. I’m afraid I have no idea what birds you can hear, but I do know that behind us was a statue of a minotaur with a lovingly carved appendage.”
